Hope is a lie

 

•        Hope is a necessary lie

It’s on what the world relies,

As the pages of life go by,

Known it isn’t the existence of thy,

As the sun sets, followed by the cold night sky,

Along with the ending day you might die,

It’s the process of life and death, you can’t ask why,

Known the fact, demise for all, yet we cry,

It’s a harsh site, despite an enemy or ally,

 

•   Hopeless as the sun that sets,

Useless has become every abet,

Vacant it seems, has become every alphabet,

Gone wasted each and every asset,

As a result of this life of gambles and bets,

Thought I always, it isn’t over yet,

In the end, saddened by a death of regrets,

 

     

 

Taken down by inevitable despair,

My only mistake, being aware,

This feeling of ineffectiveness, I can’t bear,

No matter how hard I try, I don’t even compare,

No backups I have, just prayers,

I can only foresee destruction, no repair,

I have taken my beating u better prepare,

But hey don’t worry, your pain I shall share,

What do I conclude? Reality just ain’t (isn’t) fair,
